Welcome to my world where I try to figure out what I'm going to do next! These days, it is mostly quilting, but you never know what it might be... come find out with me!

2012 going going gone

It is round up time for 2012. I'm still trying to figure out how it could possible have sped by so fast!

So what did I manage to do this past year? (in no particular order, I might add...)
2012 round up

1. texture, 2. Up Up and Away, 3. Looong Runner, 4. pinwheel 1, 5. Star Baby, 6. centre quilting, 7. binding, 8. life, 9. Dream Feathers, 10. QuiltCon Challenge block, 11. potholders, 12. baby1, 13. The MacDonald Building, 14. At the Edge of the Forest, 15. row robin2, 16. Wonky Stars 2, 17. pouch2, 18. Charity quilt VMQG, 19. Circling Around - Finished, 20. frustration1, 21. baby zigzag, 22. Flowers for Cynthia, 23. Fractured Rainbows 2, 24. aster2, 25. echoed

Nothing larger than a lap quilt this year, although there are a few in there, but mostly baby quilts and wall hangings.  I see I did mange to finish a few projects that were held over from last year (or earlier), but had hoped to knock a few more off.  Ah well, there's always 2013!  Unfortunately, that list of UFOs and WIPS has done a lot of growing this year - rats!

Next year will see more work on my FMQ - I will be reviewing all of Sew Cal Gal's excellent 2012 Freemotion Quilting Project, and practicing, practicing, practicing.  I'm also planning on making a few more bed quilts and have been working on a couple of designs.  As usual, the stack of UFOs that are again on my list of things to work on, as well as trying to use up some of the stash I've accumulated - no surprises there - it is what most of us struggle with, right??!!

I'm looking forward to whatever challenges come my way, especially with Tangled Textiles, which has me feeling blue right now as I try and figure out what to do for the current theme.

To everyone, a very joyous new year and a safe, peaceful and creative 2013!
