Welcome to my world where I try to figure out what I'm going to do next! These days, it is mostly quilting, but you never know what it might be... come find out with me!

Just what am I hoping to get done?

It's time to layout my goals for the 2013 Finish Along - Quarter 1.  Leanne/she can quilt is the new host for this year, and I'll be linking up over there shortly.

she can quilt

While I have a lot of UFOs and WIPs hanging about, I'm going to focus my attention on just these three for now.  They will definitely keep me busy, what with other challenges and deadlines, and I do want to succeed with this so trying to keep it real!

  1. Baskets and Sunflowers - this is a BOM I did many years ago - 2007 maybe??  It is sandwiched and ready to quilt.  It is pretty bright, and will give me lots of opportunity to practice some custom FMQ!

  2. Waverunner - made this top back in 2009, in a quilt along hosted by Victoria/Bumble Beans Inc.  I have returned to it a couple of times and now it is a finished top.  It needs to be quilted and finished.  I'll take a more modern approach to the quilting on this one.

  3. Scrappy Patch - This one is a leaders-and-enders project.  It needs to become a top and get finished.  I may play with it a little more in the process!

How about you?  Have you made a plan on how you'll tackle any of your UFOs, that is, if you have any!  Wish me luck!

 Happy quilting!

You have three beautiful projects there, I am looking forward to seeing them all finished. I really love those improv blocks and wonder what quilting style you will pick. Glad to see you in the FAL.

Nice projects Janeth!! My list from January 2012, is almost the same (and long) as my list for 2013, so I don’t join any finish along, but my own... LOL!

We think alike on the leader/ender it looks like! I have several on my FAL list as well.

Good luck with your FAL plans - three lovely quilts there :-)

Great projects! As a veteran UFO non-finisher, I say focusing on the three is a good strategy.

Is your plan for the patch quilt more squares or adding borders? Either way it'll be fun. Good luck!

Gorgeous quilts! I'm sure you'll have those quilted quickly. All my ufo's haven't made it beyond plans so it doesn't matter which one I start with! (oh I did start one - our blue challenge so I plan to finish it by the 28th!)

Three terrific projects! The wave one is especially interesting. I only had two UFOs from 2012 and one is finshed (well, the top is - needs quilting)

love the colours in your bom. I'm sure it will be fun to quilt. UFOs, I have tons of them, but they will get done sometime, I suppose, lol
