a UFO challenge

You know I can't resist a challenge!  and this one just might help me finish up a few UFOs that have been hanging around.  The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild is doing a UFO challenge - you sign up and list the UFOs you want to get finished, and then as you get them done and show them off, you get the satisfaction of knowing you've finished them, plus the possibility of maybe winning something.  Sounds pretty good to me.  I've put 5 on my list - here's 4 of them, the fifth needs to have a picture taken, but it is a pile of X & + blocks I won in a block lottery at a VMQG meeting - it may even end up as two quilts - it was a good meeting!

Hugs and Kisses - quilting
Bliss trellis piecing
Sunflowers and Baskets - quilting
Pineapple Blossom
Some are fairly recent - started within the last year, but a couple have been hanging around for a few years, and it really is time I got them done.  I've started with the second one pictured above, and have made some progress -
Blissful

two more borders then I'll get it sandwiched and quilted and it will be done.

Linking up to The Needle and Thread Network  - go see what Canadians from coast to coast are working on this week! and to Freshly Pieced WIP Wednesday

 Happy quilting!

Bliss indeed. My favourite is the pineapples! I don't know about you, but our weather is very conducive to quilting! ;)

You've set yourself a big challenge but I'm sure you can do it. They're all lovely quilts and I like your colour choices, but I have admit that Pineapple basket is my favourite. I can't wait to see them finished.
