2015 Finish-Along: Quarter 1 list

2015 FAL at On the Windy Side

I'm going to use the motivation of the Finish-Along to try and bust some of my UFOs that are lurking around.  I know that I will get distracted, so I'm officially only putting three items on my first quarter list. If I can get these done, I'll be very happy!
FAL2015 first qtr list!

My items are:
1.  My round robin quilt from my traditional guild.  This has been hanging around for years! I've pieced the back already, and have done some design work for the quilting.

2.  Blocks from a block lottery through VMQG. These need to be put together, sandwiched and quilted.

3.  A table runner I started last fall. Quilting is started, should be a quick finish, I hope!

Because I'm still struggling to figure out an easy way to post pictures to my blog with my iPad mini, I hope this one stays!

Happy quilting! Janet

Janet I was so excited to see your Round Robin picture, you solved a mystery for me! I saw a picture of that center block on Pintrest a while ago (with broken link) and made a similar block for a Round Robin I did. So glad to finally know where the inspiration for that block came from! One of my favorites!

Love that you embrace both traditional and modern - me too! It's fun to mix them up sometimes too isn't it? When you figure out how to blog on your ipad, please share! I use BlogPress but it is pretty limited and very frustrating!

Good luck with the finishing, although I'm sure you'll manage it.

At the last guild meeting, we learned a new word for UFOs...flimsies! I thought that was a better description than UFO.

Well, good for you! I joined a 'finish off challenge' last year and then forgot all about it - by which time I had lost the link to the site. That's my excuse anyway!

It looks like you will have your hands full and your sewing machine humming along at a good clip.
