My Round Robin Quilt

I got my Round robin quilt back at our last Blue Mountain Quilt Guild meeting - can I say Wow!  I am so pleased with how it has turned out!  All the members of my group did incredible borders for me.
It started with my block:
start of a round robin

Next stop was with Gladys, who added borders that include three dimensional flying geese - so cool!
round 1 & 2
and the to Louise who had to put the block on point, using a variation of a log cabin block.  Look at what she did - wow!
Louise's pineapple blocks

From Lousie it went to Brigitte who was to add an applique border - look at this gorgeous job she did.
to round 3

From Louise it went to Bonnie who added the squares on point, with different colours either side - love it.  And the the final border was done by Mary - HSTs  the perfect finish!
round 4 & 5

Doesn't it look fabulous?

Happy quilting!

Kathy Myers - you're a no reply blogger, so I hope you see this comment! The centre block was reduced from a pattern found in a book. It uses 2.5" squares and 2.5" hst. It is all about the colour placement to get the woven ribbon affect, but the construction itself is very straight forward. I'll see if I can find the book and post the information here later.
