Between feeling like I was running all over the place, and not accomplishing a lot, I did manage to work on a few things!
The wedding quilt is still a work in progress - will someone remind me why i thought it was a good idea to quilt a 95"sq quilt on my domestic machine?
And why I decided it should be straight lines?
Well I am, and they aren't, and I am getting so tired of pushing it around that it may be a while yet before I have the strength to finish it!
But, on a little bit brighter note, I did get a challenge quilt finished for a local quilt shop, but I don't seem to have taken any pictures of it, so I'll blog about it after I pick it up on Saturday; and I did get my Tangled Textiles Celebration challenge done, so I guess August wasn't a complete write-off!

Happy quilting!
Oh my, that is a beast! I've never made anything that big, and if I ever do, I'm certain it won't be quilted in my house! It's looking fabulous Janet!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is looking fabulous, glad I'm not having to quilt it though!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks beautiful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, I'm sure you will be very proud of yourself once you finish it.
ReplyDeleteLooks a big quilt - very bright and beautiful! Well done!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got a lot done. We will remind you about the huge quilt on the domestic machine ifyou ever forget. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt is looking good.
Hang in there! The fact that you made that quilt yourself, start to finish, will make it that much more meaningful as a wedding gift!!
ReplyDeleteOooh...pretty! But HUGE!
ReplyDeleteIt will be gorgeous. You always do such beautiful work!
This is so great. Lovely colours :-)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is huge! How do you manage to fit it in the arm of your machine?
