Another happy day of sewing!

Yesterday was a Blue Mountain Quilters Guild drop in day, and I had another productive day of sewing and chatting!
My goal for the day was to get a backing pieced for a quilt I started about a year ago, get it sandwiched and the quilting started.

Success on all counts!
The back

started with a charm pack
the quilting is started

I'm loving these feathers
Loving it so far!

Happy quilting!

  1. Looks great so far! Do you mark the feathers before you quilt?

  2. Our Stitcher's group had a sew in yesterday, too -- I wasn't able to stay for long, but I love getting together with our ladies. Sew much fun! Your guild name caught my eye immediately -- my daughter graduated from Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, here in the states! Great things from Blue Mountain! :)
