checkerboard pouch

I did manage to get this one finished up -

based on the great tutorial over at Terrabyte Farm

and then had fun piecing this - what should it be - a pouch or a journal cover?

Happy quilting!

  1. Oh a Journal cover would look great. On the other hand, it could be turned into a very large needle case....jst needs the felt to hold the needles.

  2. Lovely. I agree that it should be a journal cover.

  3. Great finish. I would say use your new piece as a journal cover to show it off.

  7. That would be fun for a journal cover. Or a pouch/side of a bag. Lovely!

The pouch is cute. I think I have one like it on my 'want to do' list.

  11. I just like to look at it. Whatever you do, make sure it is something you use a lot, so it gets lots of viewing time.

  13. Great pieces! I would turn the second one into a pouch for a boy/man, that would something different than the usual black/grey/blue things they want.
