Finish it up!

That is my plan for this weekend.  I'm going on a 4 day - four whole days!!!! - retreat hosted by the wonderful Krista aka Poppyprint, and my plan is to finish off a few projects that I've had in the works for awhile, including this one.
Kona Modern Quilts fabric challenge
I've thrown in a couple of quilt tops that have been kicking around here for quite a while - even years - and my goal is to get them done.  And just because I don't want to get bored (HA! as if that could happen)  I've also got a couple of new projects tucked in there, too.  Maybe by next week I'll have a few more finishes to show off?  or maybe it will be a few more WIPs added to the list.  Good fun, either way!

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to pause for a moment to remember on November 11.

Off to finish packing

Happy quilting!

  8. I love how you've left some of the poppies white-it really draws the eye further into the piece. (Here, white poppies are worn by pacifists who still want to remember, but don't necessarily approve of war.)

Hope the weekend was a success.
