picture post

I've not been getting a lot done these last couple of weeks, but here's a few glimpses!

I had fun playing with some decolorant - definitely need to do some more of this!

Started a little silk wholecloth quilt

and I took a couple of workshops last weekend from Barbara Shapel, to learn her techniques to do reversible quilts - this is a picture of her sample for the workshop - mine still needs a lot more work - pictures will follow of it at a later date!  All of this colour is done through thread work - love it!

and then a workshop on curves - great, fun weekend!

Go check out Barbara's gallery for some amazing work!

It is going to be awhile before I get back to doing any sewing - work has me out of town for the next little while, but hopefully I'll at least find a quilt shop along the way!

Happy quilting!
