Happy summer solstice!

While we aren't experiencing any sunshine here on this the longest day of the year, and the beginning of summer, I bring you a little manufactured sunshine, to maybe brighten your day!

Sunny Days - finished
Sunny Days, What Comes Next? 2011
Off to compete in an Iron Quilters competition at the Fraser Valley Quilt Guild's Fabric Fiesta quilt show.  What's the competition you ask?  Teams of 6 compete to create a complete quilt - quilted, bound and labeled - within a 2 hour time frame.  Should be fun!  If you're in the neighbourhood, the competitions run morning and afternoon on each day of the show, so come out and cheer some quilters on!

Happy quilting!
