on to the next one

After all the straight line quilting of the last two quilts, (here and here) I needed some feathers!

This is another little tabletopper that will be donated to our charity fundraising efforts at our quilt show in October.

I've finished the centre medallion, now to feather the borders.

I'm linking up to Amy's Freemotion Quilting Adventures - her theme this month is feathers, which works for me!  Lots of eyecandy going on over there!  This little quilt will probably appear again once the borders are finished this week.

Hope you're enjoying a wonderful weekend,
Happy quilting!

  4. The feathers are perfection as always, I love how much the quilting really gives so much movement to that center. No sure if that is the right word, but you undersand right?

Feathers are something I've just played with but never really quilted.
