I knew I was going to have a couple of easy and quick finishes, and that was true! These first two are both donation quilts. For some reason I have a ton of Vienna Nights fabrics (by 3 Sisters for Moda), and will be using it up in donation quilts.
the first Finish - Vienna Nights 1
apologies for the lousy pictures! |
second finish - Vienna Nights #2
had fun with the quilting - done on my domestic |
a fun striped and piped binding |
After getting these two done, I started working on my two red and white quilts for the bunkbeds at the cabin. I had a firm idea for one of them, and after a lot of cutting and piecing and cutting and piecing some more, I had one top done.
Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy Mountain Majesties |
But, I decided on this one and work is progressing
I'm linking up to The Needle and Thread Network this week.
Happy quilting!

It must have been hard to choose a single layout. They all look great.
ReplyDeleteRetreats are so much fun! And look at all that you accomplished. That is a wonderful idea to bring the "Almost finished" and get them done! Lovely completed work!
ReplyDeleteRetreats are such a wonderful way to recharge! I love your red and white quilts. I recently finished a Bonnie Hunter Mountain Majesty and it is amazing how different and versatile that pattern is.......love it in red and white.
ReplyDeleteI like the layout you decided on. It's quite different. The others have all been done before. Can't wait until it's completed.
ReplyDeleteI love all the quilts. I have always wanted to make a red and white quilt.
