Welcome to my world where I try to figure out what I'm going to do next! These days, it is mostly quilting, but you never know what it might be... come find out with me!

I actually did get some things done in August!

Between feeling like I was running all over the place, and not accomplishing a lot, I did manage to work on a few things!

The wedding quilt is still a work in progress - will someone remind me why i thought it was a good idea to quilt a 95"sq quilt on my domestic machine?

And why I decided it should be straight lines?
trying to keep it straight
Well I am, and they aren't, and I am getting so tired of pushing it around that it may be a while yet before I have the strength to finish it!

But, on a little bit brighter note, I did get a challenge quilt finished for a local quilt shop, but I don't seem to have taken any pictures of it, so I'll blog about it after I pick it up on Saturday; and I did get my Tangled Textiles Celebration challenge done, so I guess August wasn't a complete write-off!

Oh my, that is a beast! I've never made anything that big, and if I ever do, I'm certain it won't be quilted in my house! It's looking fabulous Janet!

The quilt is looking fabulous, glad I'm not having to quilt it though!

The quilt looks beautiful. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, I'm sure you will be very proud of yourself once you finish it.

Hang in there! The fact that you made that quilt yourself, start to finish, will make it that much more meaningful as a wedding gift!!
