1 UFO busted!

I'm so happy to say that I finally managed to finish one of my UFOs!  Yay! Here is In The Garden - a coin quilt started in October 2010.  This one is going to be gifted.

not so "yay|" on the pictures today - it is a typical grey wet Vancouver day, and the pictures reflect that :(

I think this is my fave shot of it, and the colour is pretty accurate on this one

Made from a charm pack, sorry, I can't recall which it was - "Victoria" comes to mind, some lovely green from my stash (Connecting Threads - Meadow I believe).  All free motion quilting by me on my domestic.  Wool batt and Mettler 50w embroidery cotton top and bobbin, finished size 44"x68"

Happy quilting!

  12. love the quilting lines and feathers you have done onthis project. A very happy finish! And yes, these grey days are beginning to drag, aren't they. I am going to buy some pansies to put in a planter, perhaps they will help call the sun to us!

  14. Great finish. I know how good it feels to get an older project done!

I hear your frustration on the awful grey days we've been having. I'm on the sunshine coast, which has had no sunshine since about August. Hurry up spring!
