and with that, I'm connecting up to The Needle and Thread Network this week.
Pop over and check out what some other talented Canadians have been working on!
Just some quick pictures today to show some of what I worked on this past weekend at retreat - which was fabulous!
I got started on my Bonnie Hunter Pineapple Blossom quilt made from my black and white collection - really liking how this one is looking, but it will be a WIP for awhile, for sure! I'm using some aqua/turquoise scraps and I like the combination with the black and white.
After working on it for awhile, I switched to doing some freemotion quilting and warmed up on this little piece - don't those swirls create a great texture?
I then worked on some feathers and did this - I had a lot of fun playing with Dream Feathers (from my Peggy Holt book of the same name) in the border - aren't they cool?
Happy quilting!
Oh my, how is it possible that your feathers are becoming even more outstanding!! Hmmm, I guess that would be practice. I need to get on that. Seriously, your work looks like it was done on a longarm, Janet. Gorgeous. I love the turquoise with the B&W, that will be a stunning quilt for sure!
