Last Saturday's Workshop

I attended a workshop last weekend with my Blue Mountain Quilter's Guild on Gee's Bend Inspired quilts.  The workshop instructor just happened to be one of my fellow members of the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild - Paul, who did a fabulous job.  Here's where I currently stand with it.
Gee's Bend Inspired
I'm hoping to do some scrappy pieced sashing this weekend and get the blocks all together.  With the long weekend coming up, I hope to make some good progress on this one, and maybe even a few others!

Linking up to the Needle and Thread Network.  Go check out some great Canadian talent!

Happy quilting!

The colours are pleasing and I really like the little inserts in the strips.

Great colors.I love that they are wonky, really makes the eye keep moving to see more. Can't wait to see the pieced sashing.

I love your choice of colours, but for myself the idea of Gee's Bend and Wonky just doesn't work with my eyes, I like squares that are even... I think it is great that the idea of these blocks are so changeable, tho.

Nice blocks! I am not all that in awe of Gee' Bend inspired quilts, but I think yours will be very beautiful.
