Welcome to my world where I try to figure out what I'm going to do next! These days, it is mostly quilting, but you never know what it might be... come find out with me!

picture post

I've not been getting a lot done these last couple of weeks, but here's a few glimpses!

I had fun playing with some decolorant - definitely need to do some more of this!

Started a little silk wholecloth quilt

and I took a couple of workshops last weekend from Barbara Shapel, to learn her techniques to do reversible quilts - this is a picture of her sample for the workshop - mine still needs a lot more work - pictures will follow of it at a later date!  All of this colour is done through thread work - love it!

Heron Moon -  Barbara Shapel

and then a workshop on curves - great, fun weekend!

Currents - Barbara Shapel
Go check out Barbara's gallery for some amazing work!

It is going to be awhile before I get back to doing any sewing - work has me out of town for the next little while, but hopefully I'll at least find a quilt shop along the way!

Happy quilting!

Intriguing glimpses! Have fun while you're away working - there's sure to be a quilt shop somewhere!

You always wow me out with your work, Janet! The workshops sound amazing. Good luck with your out of town stuff and hope you can get back to your sewing room soon.
