Q1 2013 FAL Recap

she can quilt

I started with the best of intentions - I did!  Really! But there is something about going back and picking up an old project that gets me every time.  I procrastinate, I fiddle, and am generally pretty unproductive.  All this to say I have not finished a single one of my Q1 FAL goals.  Not one.  I did make progress on two of the three projects - see this post for my original goals, and I will continue to plug away at them.
see?  some progress...

They will get done!  I'm just not sure when.

That's not to say I didn't get anything done in the first quarter of the year.  I have made and donated 4 baby quilts - two shown in this post

and some progress shots in this post - looks like I donated these two before taking any final pictures
.

I completed a Tangled Textiles challenge piece - Banish the Blues.

I worked on two pieces for the Madrona Road challenge at VMQG.  (Okay, so those two aren't finished yet either, but they are close!)

I did quilt this gorgeous quilt for Krista

and I've started my next Tangled Textiles Challenge piece and I have a paint chip challenge quilt for BMQG ready to quilt. Oh, and both machines were in for repairs for two weeks, and I was away for two weeks - I guess that's not too bad, considering...

Happy Easter and happy quilting!

It‘s not bad at all Janet! And... you can just continue steadily and try to finish the projects in Quarter 2 of the FAL!

Progress is good, just put them on your Q2 list.

It looks like you've been busy to me, Janet! Great to see you've got a couple Madrona Road Challenge projects on the go. We missed you at the March meeting!
