Well, after my dismal results in Q1, I'm going to give it another go! And, because I do really want to finish off those items I listed in the first quarter, they are going to appear again in the second. See this post for the original posting.
To recap - Project #1:
Baskets and Sunflowers - I did make some progress, I am working on the quilting, between distractions and I am going to get this one done!
Project #2:
Waverunner - this is sandwiched, just have to get to the quilting!
Project #3:
Scrappy patch - I'm reworking this one, but I'm really liking it and wanting it done.
I know I will get distracted with other things - today was a prime example of that. It has been a while since I did any free motion so I thought I'd get back in the groove with a doodle sample. Scraps of black dupioni silk and a few blue silk scraps, and a lot of fun!

I was having so much fun, and liked the piece so much when I was done that I proceeded to cut it in half and make up two pouches. These will be treasure bags for CQA / Quilt BC. Just have to get them in the mail.
I like this kind of distraction - now put these aside and get to work on my Q2 pieces! Wish me luck...
Happy quilting!

Good luck with the finishes. The quilting is beautiful and has made lovely pouches.
Ineed to listy mine. I was very motivated so that helps with these ufo's. A doodle quilt! cute!
Well the distractions are beautiful so there's that! Good luck with Q2!
Lovely quilting! The bags will be treasured I am sure!
So very nice! Your doodle session made the most gorgeous bags. :)
You are further ahead with your finishes than I am. Distractions are the bane of my existence.
The treasure bags are just amazing. Good luck at staying focused...there are just so many distractions. (like new projects, new fabric, new ideas) ;)
I am so happy that beautiful stitching can be out and admired!
Your quilting is just amazing!!!
Oh, the quilting on the pouches is so beautiful! They're lovely!
Wow--those pouches are just gorgeous. Your FMQ is always so amazingly beautiful!
I wouldn't be game to put up a list of my UFO's but distractions I can handle - your quilting is gorgeous!
Mmmmmm...silk free motion quilting in a doodle-y style, whats not to love? May all our distractions be so pretty!
