Let me tell you, colours beginning with a "J" are not particularly common! Luckily, we were also able to include the French spellings, so that gave me a few more options.
I have a colleague at work who is going on maternity leave in the next couple of weeks, so this quilt is going to do double duty.

but I was at a bit of a loss as to what I was going to do until I saw this post. Sew, Mama, Sew is hosting a new Modern BoM Sew along. While I don't generally participate in BoMs, I did really like the first block they were offering.
This block, "Up From Here", by Alyssa Lichner of Pile of Fabrics was just the inspiration I needed! While the BoM block is 24" square, that was too big for my purposes, so I resized it to be 18" square.  |

It took me just as long to figure out my backing - I wanted to use up the FQs I had used on the front. Success!
Did a little free motion continuous curves quilting - I love this design - you really don't have to be perfectly accurate with your arcs - your eye will see it and say it is circles and you're good!
I've got until Friday night to finish the quilting and get it bound.

What a beautiful FRESH looking quilt! I love the colours. What line of fabric for the white with yellow flowers etc? Did you free motion those circles? So many questions because I just took a modern quilt workshop and I think that I may be going to the "other side" for a bit! I love the freshness of the designs!
