what a hoot! The Blue Mountain Slashers had a fabulous time at the FVQG's Iron Quilter competition. We arrived with our fabric in hand and our cutters ready to roll! Unfortunately, so did the competition, and the judges declared them the winner - by a single point - talk about a close competition! In the end, everyone was a winner - we got to quilt with friends, make a donation quilt that will be appreciated, and take in a great quilt show, and had a lot of laughs in the process.

I didn't take my camera, and was a little pre-occupied even if I had, so many thanks to Kari and Christine who have provided the pictures for this post.
Happy quilting!

Oh well, pipped at the post, but great work, and looks like it was fun.
Your team did a great job! And you finished with fifteen minutes to spare? Amazing!

Cute! love the T-shirts. I think you all are winners.
Sorry you didn't win but great quilt. Blue Mountain Slashers - sounds like some horror movie!
I saw your quilt when we were competing on the Saturday. Very nice, and congrats on such a close score.
