Welcome to my world where I try to figure out what I'm going to do next! These days, it is mostly quilting, but you never know what it might be... come find out with me!

scattered

I really need to focus a little more - I am so easily distracted and jump from one project to the next.
This week, in between visiting new little ones, I managed to get this one quilted and almost bound - a bit more stitching and it will be done.

But before I got it finished, I decided I needed to work on my Trellis quilt.  The top is done.

But, instead of getting it sandwiched and the quilting started, I decided I needed to make a Wine gift bag for the CQA / National Juried Show.

So, how are you at staying focused on a single project?

Happy quilting!

I promised myself when I started quilting... That I would not be an unfinisher. So I do try to stick to one project until it is complete, whenever possible. Love the swirly heart quilting on your sweetheart quilt. And the colours in your trellis quilt. Gorgeous work!

As I am sure you well know I am totally scatter brained and can't ever keep my mind on any one thing for long. You, however still seem to get some lovely work done

I don't call it a lack of focus, I call it a rotation. Sounds more deliberate!

Love your Trellis quilt - is it your own pattern?

The wine bag looks lovely. Makes me wish I was a delegate to Quilts Canada.

I hear you! I like how Jackie refers to it - rotation. :) Beautiful projects, Janet!

Well everything you are working on is beautiful. I love the heart you quilted into the heart quilt.

I am afraid that I hop around a lot. Really a lot. I always resolve to find better focus and then.......LOL

For being so unfocused you sure get alot done! Beautiful!

Focus??? What's focus? Your work is great, I especially love the wine bag.

You may feel that you lack focus but you get so much done.

Oh I wish I could just work on one thing at a time! I keep starting new projects! Maybe I should set myself the task to finish all the wipe next month! YES I SHOULD!

Really lovely heart quilt. The border quilting is wonderful!

I do the same thing, jump from project to project. But I think it keeps me from getting bored with any given project. Love the quilt with the Bliss fabrics, one of my very favorite lines. And that heart with the swirl, LOVE it. I'll have to give that a try.

I love the border quilting on the heart quilt!

I'm generally sewing to a deadline (like right now for the CQA Trend-Tex challenge). If I don't have a deadline, then I too can easily be distracted by a new project.
