It is already quarter 3 of the 2015 Finish along, and I figure I better put a list in to try and stay on track. The obvious route would be to just swing over all of the projects that I didn't get done in quarter 2, and to a certain degree, that's what I'm going to do, although they will be scaled back! We've got vacation time coming up and I will be without a machine, as well, my time at home to sew is going to continue to be somewhat limited with house renos and work work getting busy busy.
So, on the list for qtr 3:
Finish the two red cottage quilts - binding
Bind the three baby quilts
Finish the Gees Bend inspired - quilting and binding
Finish the convergence quilt - sandwich, quilt and bind
And start and finish my Modern Quilt Guild Riley Blake challenge - I have my design all figured out, just a matter of getting going on it!
Hmmm. Doesn't really look like I'm scaling back - 8 projects on the list! But 5 of these should be quick and easy! and you know there will be other projects that get thrown into the mix!
Check out what everyone else is going to be working on here. Why don't you join us?
Happy quilting!
Janet
good for you but no, thanks anyway. Not joining nuthing. I have three committments and I'm behind on all of them. vbsigh. I'm just getting the steam back up. happy summer! ;^)
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Janet! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, you just get so much done, even without a FAL. I'd love to join, but my quilting has been very, very slow - and scant - this year. Maybe when we get the painting and decorating done, and we stop traveling to see our kids and grandkids..... But nonetheless you are an inspiration to me, want to do something similar to your cabin quilts for my parents' new place. After I finish my RV quilt, housewarming quilt, 2 baby quilts.....
ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't seem to be scaring back. At least this list will keep you out of trouble.
