So how did I do?

The Finish it Up weekend was a blast!  Huge thanks and kudos to Krista / Poppyprint for a fabulous weekend - the location at Loon Lake is unbelievable - the setting, the food, the people!  Could not have been better!  To get a real good laugh and see some pictures of some of the antics that some got up to, you should check out Kristie's blog - OCD.  Kristie arrived all the way from Winnipeg and was such a hoot to share a table with! Her humor is well balanced with her amazing time management skills and her fabulous quilting  - boy did she get a lot done!

Speaking of getting things done, I did manage to finish off a few projects before starting down the route of making something new.

First up was finishing off this baby quilt
baby zigzag

figure 8s

Then I pulled out this one and finished off the quilting on it.  It feels good to have it done - now I just need to bind it and decide what I'm going to do with it!

Then it was time to break out and do something new - life has been pretty rough at work the last little while - we've just changed computer systems, and for some of us, there have a number of  frustrations.  I figured we needed a way to relieve some of that frustration!
This one was made for a colleague:

and then this one was for my office wall

Next up was finishing the binding on my Kona Modern Quilts challenge - got that one done too, but I'm not happy with the picture, so you'll have to wait for the full reveal on that!  Also no picture, but I did start a new project - but I'll save that one until I'm a little further along with it.

Hope you had a great weekend and got lots done, too!

Happy quilting!

Haha!! Love the "Hit Head Here" pieces. :D Such lovely quilting on the table runner, and I love the candy ribboning on the zigzag quilt. I may have to try that - might be able to actually handle that, where feathering is still way beyond me. :D
