but I'm still stuffed with turkey!
Hope you've all had a fabulous Christmas and are getting through all the leftovers!
I managed to get a little bit of play time in yesterday and got these blocks put together:

Scrappy Stars |
I'll be piecing together a scrappy border, and then this one will be ready for quilting. I'm making a committment, and I'm starting now, that I'm going to work really hard on using up my stash this year - there will be several scrappy quilts in the works! Next on the list - of course it's already started, 'cause you just gotta do it when the inspiration hits, is out of my blue bin. This is going to be a lap quilt and will be a donation quilt for one of the guilds I belong to.

Out of the Blue |
This doesn't seem like it has made much of a dent in my scrap bin, so there will be more coming! Have you seen the latest
Quilter's Connection magazine? It was my inspiration for this one!
Since I'm off this week, I'm hoping to get both of these finished off, as well as working on a little project that a group of us will be teaching at a guild workshop in February. It should be fun! I'll get some pictures up of my part of it in the next couple of days!
I'm looking forward to a great 2011 with lots of sewing and quilting - hope you are too!
Happy quilting!

Love your scrappy stars!
I will be looking for that issue of Quilters Connection, I think. I'm intrigued...
The scrappy stars are so pretty. I love red and white quilts. The blues are looking good too.
I keep saying that I am going to use up some stash and then....I get more fabric. Maybe there is a support group????
:)
Love the scrappy stars!! Good luck this week finishing up!
